Daily wear
Store pieces individually — soft pouches or lined boxes prevent harder stones (diamond, sapphire, ruby) from scratching softer ones (emerald, opal, pearl). Avoid contact with chlorine, perfume and lotions.
Cleaning
Warm water with a drop of mild soap and a soft toothbrush refreshes most pieces. Skip ultrasonic baths for treated emeralds, pearls and opals — they can damage the stone or its treatment.
Service
We recommend a professional inspection once a year — prong condition, re-tipping if needed, and re-polishing. Repair work is covered under the KGK Manufacturing desk.
